Electronics with love

Today, I came across a little quiz without a solution: is my device battery I'm going to buy brand new or recycled somehow? I searched deeply the full options catalogue (Amazon) passing by "battery brands" including "PhoneFriend" and "Shenzhen Power Line", checking the battery labels for factory name and production year: no way. Luckely the Amazon first availability date appeared to be of help until I got the brand in question was "MaoThephone". And reputing myself really lucky that indeed my Samsung tablet (bought in China) is still alive since 2014.. I come to think that having both product rebranding and quality check in China is too azardus for our market.
Business projection

We remain with these doubts.. I can certainly lies my smartphone under a vertical glass to activate by a certain lens game its screen projection.. That's it:
- What're exactly the pros over other projection technologies?
- How to manipulate these projection on the fly by the same touchless technology?
- Can the AR glasses be the key to solve this quiz?
- Is the business market ready?
How to save the 'web language'?

If I was a communication or new technologies expert I now could present myself to my class and ask a simple question: "What you would like to save of Internet (or the Web 1.0) and if we consider the web as a mere 'language', what you can do to save it from Facebook, Google Lens and Whats App?". Indeed I think that as we should fight to take in life our own old dialects and national languages, the web could be essentially an other language we use to express ourself and that we should save from the insidious stuff of this world. My own answer probably could be that everyone of ourselves could dedicate to the web a little of its spare time and resources exactly how we do nowadays behind the 'opensource thing'.
I'm really embaraced to choose where to invest my 1€!

The usb cables are sold for 2 Yuan in China and they reach 15 € in the european stores: the usb cables could be a big asset..

But I came with a better idea, a bit of paperwork and some browsing on the district park and I can finance a school to teach local dialect in my city. My daughter is teacher less and potential "grandpa" teachers are many. And I don't steal to anyone..
Joke, go for a less smoking Mac!

Never, never pinning people at the stupid level for your own business.

Instructions to make LetsEncrypt certificates being validated in MacOSX < 10.12 (old Mac)

- Download the ISRG Root X1 self-signed certificate from https://letsencrypt.org/certificates/
- Open the certificate app “Keychain Access” from Applications/Utilities
- Add (+) the ISRG Root X1 certificate above in “System”
- Go in File->Get Info to set its trust preferences for SSL to “Always trust”

Enjoy!
Extensible gate, technology at risk

Indeed you have to look everything at macro level. A good system, if well conceived, software or hardware, it doesn't and it will not require a "generative technology" under the form of extension module implementation. Every, every, every technology that opens its basic roots to an extension paradigm puts itself in the position to be compromised, at easy costs: ajax versus internet applications, load runtime modules and creational functions versus PHP (cut off since ver 8), update procedures versus OSs, EEPROM versus BIOS, etc.

The past term "monolitic" should be refurbished to reload today systems that everything appear but solid ones.
Machines better than humans

Around the machines subject, the common observation you have certainly heard about them, computers and robots is that their life is binary, made of ones and zeros, like indeed they have no clue about us, humans, and no flexible behavior. And this statement not only is wrong but it appears exactly there to falsify the truth.

Truth is algorithms have formally to start with a certain semantic, made of constants and declarations in addition to the constants and declarations made at system level. So we have always a local behavior defined in the algorithm that should adapt to the system behavior. Often the execution environment has also some behevioral and mainly security constraints to which the alghoritm life has to conform to. A"universe" different from this one has been probably not conceived by: software engineers..

The real trouble is computer and robots can't have feelings if not programmed explicitely by humans by changes supervised by other humans (appointend in the IT landscape, ops!). Indeed, and here we are defeating the behavioal monster, machines are not going very soon to feel pain for a political thought, to make strikes for a salary matter and so forth.. if not programmed by: software engineers..

Are software engineers common and inpartial human beings? This indeed is an acceptable question but is yet regarding us, the humans!

However, Frederick Brooks ends his book, The Mythical Man-Month with this statement: "Since machines are made for people, not people for machines, their use makes every form of sense, economic and human".
High-level languages, uh?

The following is an excerpt from The Mythical Man-Month, by Frederick Brooks:

"The chief reasons for using a high-level language are productivity and debugging speed. Productivity improvement comes by integral factors, not just incremental percentages. The debugging improvement comes from the fact that there are fewer bugs, and they are easier to find. There are fewer because one avoids an entire level of exposure to error, a level on which one makes not only syntactic errors but semantic ones. For me, these productivity and debugging reasons are overwhelming. I cannot easily conceive of a programming system I would build in assembly language."
From VCR to Smart TVs

Today I read on the paper that the ordinary TV is finally out the market leaving space to the streamed TV.

Well the full story of TV proposes us that the VCR was a very poor designed device while the Smart TV is perfectly designed for every audience, uh?

The following is the summary of the digital transformation of the TV:

1) the tv broadcast was happening via anologic signal
2) the vcr enters the market making happy all the lovers of Rambo and Rocky
3) the satellite with the first digital broadcasts enters the market
4) the analogic signal start to be replaced by a digital one
5) the cinematographic offer on the ordinary tv starts a decline period
6) the vcr exit the market because "a bad designed device"
7) the tv broadcast completely happen in digital signal
8) the pay tv as we know it enters the market with Rambo and Rocky offers
9) the Android operating system enters the tv market like "Smart TV"
10) the streamed tv enters the market in the form of usb / hdmi sticks
11) the pay tv start a first decline
12) the streamed tv start to replace digital braodcasts

There was a day that my grandpa could watch the tv, lucky guy.. he skipped the Covid and the Smart TV!

Hey, grandpa, stop watching now! Alleluya!
Joke, access to the cafe is free..

We are not planning to lose market. Access to this caffe is free or open like you prefer..

Indeed, we are not going to require any two factor authentication or face recognition anytime soon..

Enjoy your stay with our staff..
